TARA PV Database
Pharmacovigilance safety databases have been a staple in Drug Safety activities and are fundamental in analysing large sets of unstructured safety data. Larger conventional safety databases offer a multitude of automation options, however personalisation is hard to achieve, as flexibility is not usually a core strength.
At Callisto, we decided to take the time to research and review a variety of safety databases available, so that we could choose the one that was most suitable for our needs and the needs of our clients. After careful research and discussions, we decided on a safety database called TARA PV.
TARA PV (Tools for Adverse Reaction Assessment) was designed and created by a team of pharmacovigilance professionals, MedGenesis, who put an emphasis on a Drug Safety, user driven approach to its processes that can be tailored to individual client needs.
TARA PV is ideal for Callisto Pharma Group, as it offers the variability and adaptability needed to allow us to provide the same qualitative services to all our customers when it comes to XML file import/export, case processing, signal detection, analysing the risk-benefit, and many other activities. It offers the option to have multiple Company Units in one place, which is ideal for general oversight, but also allows for multitenancy functionality, allowing for control over individual systems from one account. Data can easily be migrated, and the customer support is incredibly fast and helpful. This allows us to be confident in the consistency and accuracy of your data that contributes to PSUR preparation and signal detection activities for our clients, therefore enabling us to continue to monitor the overall risk-benefits of our MAHs products.
Providing consistent updates to keep in line with international regulatory requirements and regulations, alongside efficient implementation of the database and continuous support in the functionality, TARA PV has become an invaluable partner for our pharmacovigilance services here at Callisto.
