This involves taking medical enquiries, which are usually received via dedicated medical information phone lines and ensuring the consistent and controlled response to these enquiries. Medical Information functions are also required to gather information relevant to patient safety or product quality and report this information to relevant parties responsible to safety or quality activities.

All Marketing Authorisation Holders are required to provide medical information services to support their products.
