Join Our Team as a 12-Month Placement Student in PV!

Are you a driven and enthusiastic student studying a science-based subject and are looking to gain hands-on experience in the pharmaceutical industry? We are excited to offer a unique opportunity to complete a 12-month placement with Callisto in our Pharmacovigilance Department. As a placement student with us, you will work alongside experienced professionals, contributing to impactful projects and gaining invaluable insights into pharmaceutical consultancy.

About Us

We have grown from the formation, in 2003, of Callisto Regulatory Consulting Ltd, which provided regulatory and technical support to pharmaceutical manufacturers. Developing into a consultancy group that can provide a complete range of technical services across the whole supply chain within multiple regulated sectors including human, veterinary and herbal medicines, borderline products, biocides, medical devices and food supplements. Callisto recently joined forces with ProductLife Group in October of 2024.

As a ProductLife Group Company we continue to work across the UK, Europe, and the rest of the world for clients operating in highly regulated sectors, ranging from global multi-nationals to single product licence holders.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Pharmacovigilance activities including weekly literature searching, preparation of safety reports, reviewing PVOR’s (Pharmacovigilance Obligation Report) and reporting ADR’s (Adverse Drug Reaction) where required.
  • Receiving and responding to medical information enquiries.Proof reading product safety information including Summary of Product Characteristics (SPC’s) and Patient Information Leaflets (PILs), and preparation of user tests.

 

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Current students pursuing a degree in pharmaceutical sciences, life sciences, or related fields.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • A proactive and eager-to-learn attitude.
